Dr. Sheila Clancy DVM
Dr. Clancy grew up in Buffalo, NY then moved to North Carolina to avoid the snow. While there, she graduated from Duke University, worked for IBM for several years and obtained her DVM from North Carolina State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is, therefore, a die-hard Buffalo Bills and Duke Basketball fan.
Dr. Clancy worked at several animal hospitals before relocating to Connecticut. She is currently owned by several dogs and cats, including a rescued German Shepard and a Siamese cat.
Dr. Stephen J. Donnelly
Dr. Dr. Donnelly joined Sandbank Veterinary Hospital in October 2011.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, he completed a 1 year internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center in NYC in 2001. He then practiced at Cheshire Veterinary Hospital for 10 years before joining Sandbank.
He resides in Cheshire with his wife Karen and their 3 children: Keira, Michaela, and Noah. The Donnellys share their home with 2 dogs, 4 cats, a ferret, and a turtle.
Chantelle joined Sandbank Vet in November 2017. She graduated in 2015 from UCONN with a BA in Animal Science and in 2016 with a BA in Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. She currently resides in Marlborough with her husband, William and her cat, Hunter.
Dr. Lori Barringer DVM
Dr. Barringer attended the University of Georgia for her BA in Biological Sciences before graduating with her DVM in 2005. Dr. Barringer and her husband, David, and her son Joseph returned to CT in 2005. They have 2 cats and a Boston Terrier.
Kelly Rutledge (CVT)
Kelly has been a veterinary technician for 11 years. She graduated from Middlesex Community College. Besides being a certified technician, Kelly also has her own business providing massage, physical therapy, and medical care for horses (www.synergyhorsetherapy.com Kelly has 4 cats, Hannah, Simmy, Rosie, and Tasha, and a horse named Astro.
Jessica L. (Reception/Technician)
Jessica has been in the veterinary field as a technician for 19 years. She lives in Terryville with her husband, Todd; daughter, Ashley; her 3 labs, Dale, Daisy, and Rex; and several rescue cats.
Dana joined Sandbank in October, 2016. She has been in the veterinary field as a receptionist for the past 25 years. Dana resides in Meriden with her husband, Ron. They share their home with their 9 rescue cats (one which is blind).
